1878 Establishment of a toll road through the nearby area and a station in Mountain Springs which only portions of the foundation remain Today.
1878 road is realigned and now passes through Mountain Springs, elimination toll road, from this date on various grades and highways were built through this area, one can still walk on The Wagon Road or remnants of Old Hwy 80.
