Buckman Springs located on Old Hwy 80 in Buckman Springs.
In 1881 Amos Buckman acquired the homestead of Buckman Springs, with its Springs of naturally carbonated water, minerals and Lithia.
The Homestead feature a hotel, cabins, and a place to eat as well as a home.
The water was advertised as a cure all and attracted visitors but suffered from its high Iron content that stained the bottle an orange color.
The area was developed further after 1898 with further features including a bottling plant.
