Built over a Century ago in 1918 by The San Dieguito Mutual Water and Santa Fe Railroad, The dam supplied water to areas in Northern san Diego County, and created Lake Hodges.

The Flume
Section of the old flume that transported the water from the dam. This section is in the no trespassing area and was taken with a telephoto lens. the flume section has partially collapsed.
Cement Flume section, this is an open section meaning it is on a downgrade so the water flows with the gravity.
Flume Section Pipe, Some places you dont have a slope for gravity to let the water flow. Pipes allow you to use the principle of the siphon to jump these gaps.
